Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech → Imlil → Toubkal Refuge (3,207m)
Your adventure begins with a private morning transfer from Marrakech to Imlil (1,740m), the gateway to the High Atlas. Meet your certified mountain guide and begin trekking through the scenic Mizane Valley, passing terraced farms, walnut groves, and the traditional village of Aremd. Continue to the pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamarouch before ascending steadily to the Mouflons Toubkal Refuge (3,207m). Enjoy a packed lunch en route and a hearty dinner at the refuge. Day 2: Summit Day – Jebel Toubkal (4,167m) → Return to Imlil
Rise before dawn for your summit attempt. Your guide will lead you up the south cirque, navigating scree fields and high-altitude terrain toward the ridge. The final ascent is physically demanding but incredibly rewarding. Upon reaching the Mount Toubkal summit (4,167m), celebrate with uninterrupted 360° views stretching from Marrakech to the Sahara. Day 3: Imlil → Tizi n’Tichka Pass → Ait Benhaddou → Dades Gorges
After breakfast, depart Imlil at 9:00 AM and cross the stunning Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) into the desert landscape. Optional stops include the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah Ait Benhaddou (famous film location) and the Ouarzazate Film Studios. Continue through riverside oases and kasbah-dotted hillsides to the dramatic Dades Gorges. Enjoy a short optional hike or relax at your hotel. Day 4: Dades Gorges → Todgha Gorge → Merzouga Desert Camp

After lunch, continue to Merzouga, the gateway to Erg Chebbi. At sunset, mount your camel for a magical 1.5-hour ride into the dunes. Day 5: Merzouga Sunrise → Return to Marrakech

Travel through stony desert landscapes and over the Atlas Mountains with photo stops and lunch en route. Arrive in Marrakech between 5:00-6:00 PM, ready to explore the Red City or continue your travels.
