Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech Airport → Imlil (1,740m)

Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from Marrakech Airport and a scenic ~1.5-hour drive south to Imlil, the gateway to the High Atlas. Upon arrival, settle into your guesthouse, meet your guide and support team, and enjoy a delicious welcome dinner prepared by your Berber cook. Rest well to acclimatize for the days ahead. Day 2: Imlil → Toubkal Refuge (3,207m)

After breakfast, begin your trek along the Mizane Valley, passing terraced farms, walnut groves, and traditional Berber hamlets. With mules and muleteers carrying your luggage, you’ll climb steadily over rocky paths toward the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m). The altitude may make the effort feel more intense, but the breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks make every step worthwhile. Day 3: Summit Day – Jebel Toubkal (4,167m) → Return to Imlil

The final ascent takes approximately 3–5 hours, depending on pace and conditions. Upon reaching the Mount Toubkal summit (4,167m), you’ll be rewarded with uninterrupted 360° views stretching from the Marrakech plains to the Sahara. After celebrating your achievement, descend steadily back to Imlil for a hearty celebration dinner and well-earned rest. Summer Trek Difficulty & Preparation Tips
